New Coaching Staff of Minsk “Dinamo”
40-year-old Russian specialist has replaced his countryman Oleg Vasilenko who was dismissed because of the team poor results at the start of the season.
Sergey Ovchinnikov for his career was a goal-keeper of “Lokomotiv” Moscow and FC “Dinamo” Moscow as well as the Portuguese “Benfica”, FC “Porto” and Alverku. Moreover, Ovchinnikov spent 35 matches with the Russian National Team.
Ovchinnikov began his coaching career in 2007 in “Lokomotiv” Moscow, where he worked with goal-keepers. In 2008 he was an assistant of Yury Semin in “Dinamo” Kiev. In 2009 Ovchinnikov started his self-coaching career as a head of Krasnodar “Kuban”. Last year Ovchinnikov coached Bryansk “Dynamo”.
Russian Andrey Semin has become Ovchinnikov’s assistant; they worked together in Krasnodar “Kuban” and Bryansk “Dynamo”.
The coaching staff also joined two Belarusian specialists - Alexander Lukhvich and Alexander Skakalin. Lukhvich is already experienced in working with the “Dinamo” team as in the year 2007 he assisted to Alexander Khatskevich. Then he coached junior club teams and in 2011 has become a head of “Dinamo-2” which competed in the B-league of Belarusian Championship. Skakalin who also worked with “Dinamo” colt team will be responsible for goal-keepers.
